Holter Reservoir Trout Down!

The Captain and Downrigger hit Holter Monday, and the trout were biting!

Trolling at 2 miles per hour at about 10-12 feet down, in over 90 feet of water, they picked up some nice trout for their efforts. Viking spoons were working the best with the Sven spoon being the top lure for the most caught.  In 100 feet of water some of the bigger trout were caught with large spoons.

The power lines between the cabins  and split rock were good, and so were the cut banks across from Holter Campground. Also, the docks are in at the Holter Campgound.  They were working on putting the docks at Log Gulch on Monday.

Nice work!
