Fishing with Helenans Kit and Trevor Johnson on Holter Reservoir and into the Gates of the Mountains is a constant learning experience sprinkled with appreciation for the beauty of the area and its wildlife. No wonder they adopted the saying: “Jiggin’ the dream.” Fishing conditions were tough when I visited the father-son duo last week, but we still boated fish and had a fun time doing it while I learned a lot about their fishing techniques and the tactics for Holter.
