Well, Butte is known for many things, especially around St. Patty’s Day and Evel Knievel Days, but, this past weekend, the town was known for something else. A cow moose seemed to be identifying as a person over the weekend. Maybe she went for a walk around town to check out real estate on the market. It’s hard to say these days. According to nbcmontana.com, the moose went right through the city and passed a baseball field, a church and a high school.
There were concerns that the moose would head on over to the track meet, so some police officers ended up herding the moose out of town before she got all riled up from the activities at the meet. There were no reported injuries or incidents involving the moose.
You just never know what you’re going to find in Montana!
