The last section of the Big Hole River reopened to fishing Tuesday after low water levels forced closures starting midsummer.
A Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks news release said the closure was reversed when criteria in the drought management plan were met.
The lowermost section of the river had been under some form of restriction since July 19. There are no longer any restrictions on rivers in Southwest Montana.
