Canyon Ferry:  Rainbow trout fishing has been excellent from shore using worms or spoons near the Outhouse, Confederate, and the Silos.  Walleye and perch are being caught trolling cranks and worm harnesses throughout the reservoir in 15 to 35 feet of water. Also, jigging deep (50 to 70 FOW) on the north end of the reservoir has been producing walleye.  Adam Strainer, FWP, Helena

Hauser:  Rainbows fishing is good from shore at the Causeway and York Bridge while using worms or marshmallows.  Trolling cowbells for rainbows around Black Sandy and the Causeway is producing some great results.  Walleye and perch fishing are slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena

Holter:  Rainbow fishing is very good from Split Rock to Holter Dam and around Gates of the Mountains while trolling cowbells or crankbaits.  Rainbows are being caught from shore on worms or flies at Gates of the Mountains, Holter Lake Ramp and Departure Point. Perch and walleye fishing are slow.  Troy Humphrey, FWP, Helena
