Attention cat hunters–MT FWP has an update for you:
The hunting of female mountain lions in several Montana hunting districts in Regions 2 & 3 will close at one-half hour after sunset on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017: HD’s 204, 260, 261 & 262 – which includes portions of Ravalli, Granite and Missoula counties will close at one-half hour after sunset on Wednesday Dec. 20, 2017. HD’s 313 & 316 – which includes portions of Gallatin, Carbon, Sweet Grass and Park counties will close at one-half hour after sunset on Wednesday Dec. 20, 2017. The closure notice for the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest sub-quota for the districts had been met.
