Idaho Elk Hunter Shoots Friend in Buttocks

A Moscow man was shot by accident when his hunting partner mistook him for an elk on Monday morning.

The 60-year-old man was shot with a muzzleloader when a 72-year-old man from Potlatch thought he was an elk, the Moscow-Pulman Daily News reported.

The injured man was taken to Gritman Medical Center where he was in stable condition on Monday.
