Fishermen:

A heads up on Ninepipes and Pablo Reservoir.  They are open as of today.  (Monday, January 8, 2018)

The perch bite at East Bay (East side of Polson Bay) has kicked in with some real jumbo’s showing up.  Yesterday, January 4th, 2018, I spent a half a day there and came home with a nice mess of fish.  Of the 10 or more people fishing there wasn’t anybody who didn’t catch fish.  Most were East and a little North of the time share RV Park but one group caught fish in the middle of the bay.

The fish weren’t extremely aggressive and seemed to bite best on smaller presentations baited with maggots or fish eyes, glow hooks and smile hooks caught more than the jugs below them.

There is a chance for some great lake trout fishing in front of Polson using a whole fish setup.

Lake Mary is fishable, but I haven’t heard any reports yet.

Good Fishing
