Fishing:

Ice fishing is good again this week in SW Montana. Georgetown Lake has been very good for rainbows & a few brook trout. Flutter spoons tipped with maggots have been effective this past week. Kastmaster, Hali, & small hammered brass Krocodiles are good jigs to use. The red dyed maggots have been the favorite choice among fishermen presently. Wax worms & night crawlers are producing as well.

Delmo Reservoir is pretty much off limits unless you have a snow mobile, four wheeler, or side by side. The roads are too hazardous for regular travel.

Fishing is still good on the Ruby Reservoir this past week with several 4 ½ lb brown trout taken near the dam. Anglers have been catching pretty big fish this week. Night crawlers & wax worms have been preferred bait.

Clark Canyon is fishing fair for trout & ling. Sucker meat has been good bait for both trout & ling.
