PETA Going Universe-Wide with Meatless Suggestions for Mars

If you’re planning on trying to join the group of people who are planning on colonizing on Mars (look at this), then you might want to start thinking about how you’re going to campaign for your right to eat meat there, as, apparently, PETA has already started their push to ensure the people that end up on Mars are vegan…or at least eat vegan…and live vegan….okay, so yeah…to be vegan if they aren’t already.  I mean, really….what else do they have to do?  This isn’t exactly surprising.

According to SyFy.com, the extremist group is calling for a meat-free Martian colony:

So, when we finally set up shop on the Red Planet, PETA wants a piece of the animal-friendly pie. They’ve sent a letter to SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp) CEO Elon Musk to request a vegan colony.

The article went on to state this:

Some suspect that PETA wants to turn the future Mars into a completely meat-free environment. There would be no animal-based food, clothes, beverages (bye-bye, cow milk), no nothing.

Even though the Mars thing is still way in the future, I am guessing PETA supporters have already started fundraising or building their own spaceship in the event their request is turned down.  So, just a heads up that PETA is attempting to make a mark of some kind universe-wide–not just on Earth.  I can only imagine what’s next.
