Darin McMurry from the US Army Corp of Engineers based out of Fort Peck Dam sent montanaoutdoor.com an updated water elevation chart for Fort Peck Reservoir.
In a nutshell, this is what it is looking like for the month of June:

“Current lake elevations is 2243.03 with total releases at 17,000 cfs starting yesterday morning.  We are releasing 11,500 cfs through the powerhouses and 5500 cfs through the spillway.

Lake elevation is already ahead of the Upper Basic forecast for end of May which was 2241.8.  I will have a new forecast June 1, but anticipate that projected peak elevation may increase above the end of June forecast of 2246.4 and releases may also increase both before June 1 and after to help slow the rise.”
