Everybody in Montana gets to fish for FREE on Father’s Day weekend!  That’s right—two days for FREE!  Did we mention it’s FREE?!  That is from June 16-17, you can get out there and fish with your pops, friends, family, or solo–for FREE.  Who can resist fishing much less free fishing?

FWP does have this to say, though:

[Martha] Williams [FWP Director in Helena] encourages all would-be anglers to be aware of boating and water safety on Montana’s rivers and streams, particularly this year as many rivers across the state are still experiencing spring runoff and flood conditions. Additionally, she reminds those with watercraft of any kind to remember to stop at all AIS inspection stations.

Note that all fishing regulations are still enforced, aside from requiring a license on June 16-17.  If you’re visiting family that weekend in Montana, get the fam outside and head to the water!  Be safe and HAVE FUN…..for FREE!
