The Associated Press is reported that a bear researcher who landed her “dream job” was recently attacked by a bear in the Cabinet Mountains.
Amber Kornak, 28, is reportedly recovering in a Kalispell hospital after being mauled.
She was able to deploy bear spray and inadvertently spray herself in the process, but it ended the attack.
