Last summer a trio of men ran, hobbled and walked on forest and Yellowstone National Park trails from Bozeman to Red Lodge, about 263 miles in a week. One day stretched to 19 hours as they trekked from Mammoth Hot Springs, Wyoming, across the Northern Range to Pebble Creek campground. They never ran into any bears, but did see bison bulls battling during the rut. To read more about the three men’s journey and the challenges they faced, check out my story at MontanaUntamed.com. http://montanauntamed.com/get-outside/article_7d7f2fc0-0bfe-5efd-81a3-f9d59d0ee8d3.html
