Looking for somewhere to fish?  Thank you to Snappy’s Sport Senter in Kalispell for this northwest Montana fishing report:

River fishing is still pretty well blown out. Hopefully a few more weeks and that will stabilize, and we should be rockin’ and rollin’.

Lake Mary Ronan
Salmon fishing is still good. Best in the early morning or night bites. Perch fishing is doing well also. Try near Camp Tuffit or Sunken Island. Good Bass too. Don’t forget the Bass restriction May 19th to June 30th for all Western Montana – Only ONE Bass over 22”.
Beaver Chain of Lakes
Big Beaver: Salmon and Rainbows are hitting.
Murry Lake: Good Rainbow and Brookies.
Woods and Dollar are doing well also.

Foy’s Lake
The Rainbow and Salmon are hitting in the early mornings.

Middle Thompson
Good trolling for Salmon in the early mornings. Perch, Pike and Bass are all excellent as well. Fish near the weed edges.

Loon Lake (Thompson Chain)
Right now, the Bass and Crappie are excellent.

Lower Stillwater
Good Perch at the West End. Live leeches down 12’-15’ are the ticket right now.

Dickey Lake
Good Salmon in the early mornings. Small Mouth Bass reports are coming in too.

Flathead Lake
Fish the mud line: trolling Brad’s Super Baits or Flat Fish off the bottom near Finley Point or the West Side of Narrows. Look for the Perch and Bass in Polson bay.

Hungry Horse Reservoir
The Cutthroats are doing well. Fish near tributary creeks. Try trolling Flicker Shads or Gold Little Cleo’s. Fishing where the tributaries dump into the reservoir with Pautzke Salmon Eggs as well.

Flathead River Sloughs
Very muddy still. Try the back ends of the sloughs for Bass and Crappie
