Traditional Native Games at Lone Pine State Park -Saturday, August 11

Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) will host Traditional Native Games at Lone Pine State Park on Saturday, August 11th from 10:30 to 12:30 pm.

Get ready, set, and join us for Traditional Native Games. Traditional native games were an important part of tribal culture and were used to teach honor, respect and responsibility.  Participants will learn about and play a variety of games ranging from no-sweat stationary games to more active sports that test your skills. At the end of the program, participants will craft their own set of hand games and participate in a tournament using the crafted set.

Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring water. To sign up for this event, visit Lone Pine State Parks on Facebook  or Eventbrite. Cost for this program is $6 for 13 & over, 12 & under are free.
