So, if you own a fish market in Montana, don’t do this….
A seafood market in Kuwait was reportedly closed after it was discovered staff had been putting plastic googly eyes on fish to make them appear fresher than they actually were.
Apparently, a customer who had bought the so-called fresh, wobbly-eyed fish was cleaning it and discovered the eye…. A rival fish market announced they only sell fish “without cosmetic surgery” after the other shop shut down–which is funny. So, I suppose cosmetic surgery should be saved for just humans…
It’s hard to say what is real out there nowadays, but you just can’t even make this up…
