(Great Falls, MT) – – Montana State Parks (stateparks.mt.gov) announced today that the boat ramp at Rainbow Boat Launch will be closed to ALL PUBLIC ACCESS on Friday, September 14 through Wednesday, September 19 so the launch area can be dredged. Over the years sediments have built up in the launch area and need to be cleaned out to allow for easier and safer access into the reservoir for boaters. The work will coincide with the drawdown of Rainbow Reservoir by NorthWestern Energy and the ramp will be closed to allow for safe operation of the dredging project.

For more information contact (406) 727-1212. Montana State Parks would like to thank the public for their patience during this maintenance project and apologizes for any inconvenience.
