and Checking it Twice is a good idea. This is the time of year to help Santa with Christmas Gifts. Whether giving gifts to fellow outdoor friends and family or hooking up yourself, start shopping now.
If you want to give or receive socks, ugly sweaters, and underwear for a gift, then don’t do anything. If you would prefer real gifts that will be appreciated and used, do your homework.
There are great deals and ideas. Stores like Bob Wards offer wonderful seasonal deals. Many of the deals can be made online and involve free shipping. Start by creating a visual organizer. Make a web of who you need to get gifts for and what their hobbies are. If the gifts are for you, do the same and list items, order numbers, catalogs or other order information. If you are on a budget, this really helps.
An old school gift idea that gives all year long are magazine prescriptions. Perhaps some new apps or other computer technology/ website memberships, future hunting and fishing licenses, or tickets to future local outdoor shows may be order.
Try to get current and modern technology. You can give away your old gear to rookies that are just getting started. Think about what gear, tackle, or items will make your outdoor experience more comfortable, fun, and safe. This should give you some great ideas.
On Christmas morning you will get or give gifts that will be thoroughly enjoyed.
I’ll take two please!
