Dale Gramm from Missoula had been putting in for a sheep tag for over 30 years for Petty Creek and switched to 482 this year. He drew his tag in unit 482 (Missouri River breaks), and he was successful!
MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks green scored the ram at 181 7/8 with almost 41 inch long horns! Dale harvested it on November 15, 2018. His son Ryan was with him on every trip over to Winifred, so they had a great hunt. The two used a jet boat to access the ram from the river. They also had rams battling and rutting all around them.
Dale said it was, understandably, a “great experience”!
Awesome–Congratulations!
