Lonnie O’Bannon and Todd Nickelson, from Missoula, along with Scott Arnold, from Victor, went to Georgetown Lake last Saturday.

“We hit the ice at 6:30 am and it was hot right off the bat. The trout were on fire, nothing smaller than 16 inches. Then about 8 the salmon turned on and it was a real good bite till noon.  I only kept the one trout but it is a 23 incher. Combined with my two friends we left the lake with 75 salmon and  11 trout. A great day on the ice. Most of the salmon were 9 to 10 inches… real nice for Georgetown”, said Arnold.
