2019 Spring Mack Days on Flathead Lake-new dates-March 22nd-May 19th

Thank you for your understanding with the ice issue on Flathead Lake. The weather is out of our control and as you all know it has been a cold winter. The temperature is warming up so we anticipate the lake will be open by March 22nd and everyone will be ready to go. Because of the importance of getting and keeping the lake trout harvest numbers up, we have asked and received approval from FWP to extend the ending date of the event to May 19th to include the north half of the lake. It is important for the value of the events that we achieve target harvest levels, which might not be possible if we gave up a week.

There may be a conflict with other users at the Wayfarers State Park on the 18th and 19th of May.  All anglers will need to use the Somers pick-up site or Blue Bay, on May 18th, and all entries will be turned in at Blue Bay on May 19th  the last day of the event.

All Awards Day/Fish Fry activities will be moved to the 19th   of May.

Remember, if this conflicts with your schedule and you are competing for a Top Angler spot, it is based on your best 18-day average. This gives you the same total of 27 Friday-Sunday weekend days.  The last day is not included, although it will be included on your bonus total at the conclusion of the event.

Thank you everyone-looking forward to getting started!
