Darin McMurry Operations Project Manager from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers gave us his thoughts and what the Corp thinks the water elevation on Fort Peck will be in June.

“Current snow pack above Fort Peck is at 97% therefore a little below average.  Barring any large events, rain or snow, in the basin this forecast should be pretty close to what we can expect for peak elevations for June.  Note Basic (average precipitation) conditions show a peak of 2243.4 by end of June and the Upper Basic (above Average Precipitation) shows a peak of 2247.2.  The latter is close to where we peaked last summer”.
