“Technical difficulties” caused many hunters to not be able to purchase nonresident Surplus Elk Combo licenses online.  According to an update on MT FWP, they will be calling and/or emailing those customers who attempted to purchase that license between 5:00 and 5:30 am on May 6th so that they can be given the opportunity to complete their purchase.

Also, “sign-ups on the alternates list for Big Game Combo licenses” will no longer be offered, but the Deer Combo license sign-up list will still be available.
