Here is a message from The Captain:
It was a great experience and whole bunch of fun to fish with Downrigger Dale and Ben Galt from White Sulphur Springs last week for a few days on Fort Peck Reservoir! Rigger and I were there for the Montana Walleye Governor’s Cup, and Ben joined us after rain in the White Sulphur area delayed his hay being put up. We targeted walleye most of the time and caught and released some large fish and kept a few nice eating fish everyday. Then, we went after lake trout, jigging them in 90 feet of water by York Island. Great fishing, good company–Nothing better on a summer day in Montana. There’s also nothing better than hearing “Get the Net”! -Captain
