Hoot Owl has started on the Big Hole from Notch Bottom to the confluence of the Beaverhead.  Fishing is prohibited on this section from 2pm till midnight.  Other sections are still seeing warm temps so get out early and beat the heat. If youre going to fish out this way, try to fish the upper portions near Divide. Try working terrestrials such as ants, beetles and hoppers and keep an eye out for tricos. A double dry rig in the morning is hard to beat.
