Downrigger joined the Captain for some trout fishing at Holter Reservoir Monday. It was the last hurrah before the docks were removed for the winter.
Fishing was excellent, as they boated their limit in just four hours, and all of the trout were in the 3-5 pound range.
Gold spoons worked the best in 9-12 feet of water over 30-70 feet depth. They were trolling at two miles per hour.
