In 2018 Gov. Steve Bullock appointed Billings attorney Tom Towe to investigate the infrastructure needs at Hell Creek State Park. The appointment came after Bullock had dismissed Towe from his chairman position for the Montana State Parks and Recreation Board. Earlier this week Towe released his report to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks director Martha Williams detailing what he thinks needs to happen to upgrade the park. Adding all the improvements up will require a minimum $4 million investment. That’s a lot of dough for a park that at one time the state considered dropping because of the cost. To learn more about Towe’s proposals, check out my story in the Billings Gazette. https://billingsgazette.com/lifestyles/recreation/m-could-make-hell-creek-a-destination-governor-s-appointee/article_10dfa1db-f221-50f2-b01f-15d94bfeff8a.html
