MORE INFO

Ashley Lake
Some ice in bays but very sketch elsewhere. Not ready yet so use extreme caution on this lake!

Blanchard
6-8in of good ice. Pete’s Sassy Stingers and Venom glow jigs are getting nice perch and crappie. A few nice pike being caught on smelt using Jaw Jackers and tip-ups.

Bitterroot Lake
North end of lake has 5in of ice in the bay with a few rainbows, salmon and perch being caught on Swedish Pimples, Hali’s and Zimmer pink/orange Wanna B jigs. Still no safe ice on the main body of water (dang it!)

Church Slough
Not safe as of 02/11/2020. Ice has deteriorated rapidly.

Crystal Lake
5-6in of good ice with salmon being caught in the 12-14in size on pink/glow Ratt Finkees tipped with maggots or wax worms

Echo Lake
Use extreme caution on any machine and areas of gray or thinning ice in the middle of the lake. 6-7in of good ice in primary fishing areas and decent if walking out. Fishing is hot for bass, perch, whitefish and crappie. Forage Minnow and Forage Spoons are the ticket. Tip them with maggots. Try jigging near the bottom in 25-35ft of water.

Flathead Lake
Limited access with freezing temps but fishing lake trout is great for those making it out. You may need tire chains to put in and pull out due to icy boat ramps.

Island Lake
7in of good ice and perching fishing is great for 6-8in perch. Try Hali’s and Pete’s Slab Slayers for best results.

Lake Mary Ronan
8-10in of great ice with machines on all portions. Perch and salmon fishing is good using Hali’s, Ratt Finkees and Pete’s Sassy Stingers and Slab Slayers. Rainbows active in 4-10ft of water using jigging raps and Swedish Pimples.

Lake Five
7in of good ice with salmon fishing getting good for 6-8in fish.

Lower Stillwater
10-12in of good ice with a crust/slush mix on tip. Machines being used. Perch fishing is good with Eagle Claw tungsten glow jigs with Back Water plastic tails tipped with maggots. Also try Ratt Finkees for the Rainbows.

Little McGregor
7in of ice and fishing good for 8-10in perch.

McGregor Lake
2-3in of ice. However, this changes quickly. Use extreme caution if fishing this weekend. Contact Lodge for daily current ice conditions and tourney status.

Lynch Lake
7in of good ice. Pike fishing good in shallows using tip-ups and smelt.

Lion Lake
5-6in of good ice with 12-15in. Rainbows being caught near shoreline using Swedish Pimples tripped with power bait.

Dickey Lake
3-6in of ice with reports of good salmon fishing using Hali’s or Swedish Pimples with glow hook below.

Thompson Chain
Lower – 6in of good ice with nice perch and trout being caught on Hali’s and Swedish Pimples. Try deep water for salmon and fish 20-30ft down with attractor and glow hook tipped with maggots.
Middle – 3-5in of good ice. Walk on only! Fishing great for pike and perch. Hali’s Jigging Raps and Ratt Finkees tipped with maggots working well.
Upper – Big pike being caught on 6in of good ice.

McWenneger Slough
Not safe to ice fish!
