Beaverhead-  Closed from Clark Canyon dam to Pipe Organ Bridge until the third Saturday in May. This will be a good place to be this spring! The streamer bite is picking up and blue winged olives should be right around the corner. Nymphing has also been a consistent option. Scuds, worms, sow bugs, midges, and small mayflies have all been producing well. Pink is a solid color to try right now.

Bitterroot/Clark Fork/Rock Creek- Reports from Rock Creek are getting back to us that the Skwalla nymphs are getting action. Streamer action on the Clark Fork has been picking up steam. Keep an eye on these rivers. We don’t get reports very ofter from over here, but the skwalas should be any day now in this region. This hatch is noriously fickle, but if you hit it, it could be epic!

Canyon Ferry – Ice is coming off in some zones. People are finding some fish in the shallows and cruising the edges. Leeches are a great choice right now.

Hauser/Holter – ice out is happening. This is a good time to head this way.

Dailey Lake- ice out is happening.

Hyalite- The road is open for the winter to get to the lake

Cliff and Wade – Frozen. Road blocked at entrance to 3 Dollar Bridge

Quake Lake – Frozen.

Clark Canyon – Frozen.

Hebgen- Frozen.

Harrison Lake – The ice is off and the fishing is alright. It is not on fire yet, but any day could be the day.

Ennis Lake- Ice is coming off in ennis as well. The south end of the lake has plenty of fishable water the last we have heard.

Ponds Around Town – Frozen.
