Steve Harada, the tournament director of the Rock Creek Walleye tourney, said the tourney is a go this weekend Saturday and Sunday June 6 and 7th.

“We will be practicing social distancing according to McCone County Health department”, said Harada by phone.

The rules meeting at 6pm on Friday will be held, but the traditional social gathering will be structured a little differently  to help prevent spread of COVID-19.

The tourney will still be based out of Rock Creek Marina, which of course is a major revenue source for the marina.  One thing different this year is there will be no sign ups at the rules meeting, according to Harada.  They are expecting upwards of 100 two-person teams.  The limit for number of teams is 125.

You can reach Harada at 406-650-2222 for more information or you can call Rock Creek Marina 406-485-2560.
