It was an amazing day for Jason Eggebrecht from Fort Peck and his partner Ross Lien from Glendive, Montana. They caught 48.25 pounds of walleye on day two. That is an average of nearly 10 pounds per fish. That weight on day two combined with their day one total gave them a new Walleye Gov Cup weight record of 80.97 pounds. It smashed the old record set last year by nearly 10 pounds. It was the second time Eggebrecht won the Gov Cup, and this one was with a different partner. He won 2018 Gov Cup with Drew Alpers.

The second place team caught 65.36 pounds, a very respectable tournament for Nick Polivka from Watford City, North Dakota and Jeff Mally from Omaha, Nebraska. Andy Rose from  Huntley, Montana teamed up with Samantha Rose for 62.96 pounds to take 3rd place!
