GREAT FALLS – By order of the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission, Hunting District 442, in a portion of Lewis and Clark and Teton counties as described in the legal description in the 2020 Montana Deer, Elk, Antelope Hunting Regulations, shall be closed to all hunting of antlerless elk within the National Forest Boundary, effective one-half hour after sunset on Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. Antlerless elk hunting will remain valid outside the National Forest boundary within this hunting district.
Hunting District 442 will remain open to hunting brow-tined bull elk through Nov. 29.
