While plentiful wildlife is a boon to hunters, large elk and deer herds along with roaming grizzly and black bears cause landowners a load of frustration. That was evident on Tuesday when the Private Land/Public Wildlife Council met to discuss the Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks’ new migration strategy. The strategy is reliant on private landowners since habitat and ranges are on private and public land. To hear some of the concerns and solutions proposed by the ranchers and representatives, check out my story at https://billingsgazette.com/outdoors/landowners-outline-wildlife-problems-as-fwp-discusses-migration-plan/article_83330f46-e744-57c9-9bbf-92895c433359.html
