5-Day Outlook as of 5/14/21

After a week of dropping flows and increasing clarity the Bitterroot is starting to rise again. Warm weather this weekend and early next week won’t help. Highs in the low to mid-60’s this weekend. Highs in the 70’s and 80’s over the next week with overnight temps in the mid 40’s.

Techniques & Tips as of 5/14/21

Indicator and streamer fishing will be your best bet with high dirty water. Big flies will help the fish see your bugs. Think large profiles, hot beads and flash. Red/White and Whitefish have been good colors for Pike flies.
