Grizzly Hackle in Missoula gives Rock Creek a 5/5 for fishing!  Here’s their latest report from June 21st:

Rock Creek is fishing great!  Salmonflies are all the way at the very upper end of the Creek.  Goldenstones, Yellow Sallies will be on the menu this week with the bright sun.  There are a few PMD’s and Green Drakes out as well.  Have your bug box full of all of these bugs.  Caddis in the evening as well.  It’s bug soup out there.  Golden Stones and Droppers is a good way to get into fish.  Fish tight to the banks still.  As the Creek drops you’ll see fish move into more summer holding water.  Only 9 more days to float the Creek.  Then it’s all for wade fishers.
