Irrigation canal seepage making area muddy
BILLINGS – The off-leash dog park at Lake Elmo State Park in Billings Heights is closed temporarily because seepage from the adjacent irrigation canal has turned it into a muddy quagmire.
The dog park is the only place at Lake Elmo where people may run their dogs off of a leash. It will remain closed until seepage subsides and the dog park dries out enough to avoid damage.
