Hunting for male mountain lions closed in hunting districts 280, 281, 284, 293 and 298E

The hunting of male mountain lions in hunting districts 280, 281, 284, 293 and 298E closed at one-half hour after sunset on Sunday, Jan. 23.

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
