Freezeout Lake migration historically hits its peak this weekend

If you are looking to catch the Freezeout Lake migration, take note that it usually peaks this weekend.

Thursday saw 45,000 geese and 900 swans at the WMA near Choteau, a bit below the historic average, but still a large increase from days before.

The Wild Wings Festival will have several events occurring at the WMA and in Choteau this weekend.
