Near the Huntington Beach pier in California, last month, a mother and her toddler were just feet apart from each other when a coyote “came out of nowhere”, according to an article in CBS News, and attacked her child. The coyote ran away, but not without biting the child in the face leaving a bloody mess behind. Officials did find the coyote and euthanize it after testing, and the toddler was hospitalized for non-life threatening injuries.
