You might want to bring your own snacks ice fishing, rather than calling for a delivery. That’s what some anglers found out in early January when a delivery driver bringing food to their fishing spot sank through the ice.
The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office in Wisconsin responded to Shawano Lake on Jan. 7, after a report a van had broken through the ice. The driver, who had reportedly driven out on the ice to deliver food to ice fishermen, was taken to the hospital and arrested on a “unrelated matter.”
