The following report is by Bighorn Angler:
Winter fishing is here and so is the wind! That has been the biggest struggle lately, but if you can fight it, the fishing has been excellent. The Browns are starting to do their thing and getting aggressive. The clarity is still off a bit and there is some grass, but better than years past.
Streamer fishing has been superb with a variety of different patterns. This is sink tip time, so make sure you have a good heavy tip to keep your bugs down.
For nymphing, we’ve been liking orange scuds, Carpet bugs, Tailwater sows and eggy looking stuff…
Pick your good weather days and get in on some of the best fishing of the season!
