We know this event is still a few months away, but it’s never too early to start planning for something this good. Go ahead and mark your calendars, spread the word, and get ready—because when May rolls around, this is one rendezvous you won’t want to miss.

The Montana Fur Harvesters Spring Rendezvous is gearing up to be bigger, louder, and more memorable than ever this year. With a move to a larger venue, the event is expanding in every direction—more space, more activities, and more chances to connect with the mountain lifestyle.

Set for May 15–16, 2026, the rendezvous will take place at the spacious Majestic Valley Arena at 3630 US-93 in Kalispell, making it easier for families, vendors, and attendees to spread out and settle in for a full weekend of fun.

One of the biggest highlights is the chance to hang out with many familiar faces from the TV show ‘Mountain Men.’ This isn’t a quick handshake and move-along situation—it’s a laid-back atmosphere where conversations, stories, and learning happen naturally.

Attendees can look forward to:

  • Meeting cast members including Tom Oar and Nancy Oar
  • Visiting with Bret Bohn, Ivy O’Guinn, Lauro Eklund, Jake Herak, Josh Kirk, and Chance Antczak
  • Learning about trapping and traditional outdoor skills directly from experienced hands

Beyond the meet-and-greet, the rendezvous offers plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, including:

  • A wide variety of vendors featuring outdoor gear, tools, and handcrafted items
  • A fundraiser banquet that brings the community together for a great cause
  • The always-anticipated Mountain Man Contest, where grit, skill, and bragging rights are on the line

Designed to be family-friendly and welcoming, the Spring Rendezvous blends education, entertainment, and tradition into one unforgettable event. Whether someone comes for the cast, the competition, the learning, or just the good company, this year’s rendezvous promises to deliver.

Spring can’t come soon enough—and neither can this gathering of mountain-minded folks.
