Why Complete Hunter Education?

Hunter Education is a vital component of safe and ethical hunting in Montana. These courses provide essential knowledge on firearm safety, wildlife management, outdoor ethics, and survival skills. Completing this program is not only a requirement for purchasing a hunting license for many residents but also a critical step in ensuring that the tradition of hunting is passed down responsibly to the next generation.

Prospective students are encouraged to check the official Montana FWP website to register for specific dates and secure a spot in their preferred location. Classes fill up quickly, so don’t delay in making your arrangements for May.
