Replace Those Store Snacks with These

Forget the gas station jerky aisle … your smoker is about to become the coolest vending machine around! These Wild Turkey Snack Sticks start with a pound of turkey run through the grinder’s medium plate, getting friendly with Weston Black Pepper & Garlic Jerky Seasoning, a little kosher salt, smoked paprika, and a whisper of pink cure salt.

Stuff it all into 19mm casings with your Weston Sausage Stuffer, tie off sticks (or go long and snip later, we don’t judge), and let them chill overnight like they’ve earned it. Then comes the slow part: three hours hanging in a 155°F smoker, wood chips refreshed hourly like clockwork, until they hit 155°F internal, at which point they take an ice bath (yes, sticks can be pampered), dry off for an hour, and emerge as the smoky, snappy, road-trip-ready snack your cooler has been begging for. Eat them fresh, vacuum seal them for the next adventure, and try to make a single batch last past the driveway!
