“Warriors finished up today. Walleye and bass were fantastic. (So many limits the first two days that an emergency restocking may be in order!) Northerns have become a bit sullen with the calm and warming waters. We got a few today in 20 to 30 foot depths, but they are struggling a bit after the fight so if releasing them try to keep them in the water and baby them. Hate to say it but the lake needs a good stiff wind for a day or two to get some cooler water up toward the surface or the dog days of August may well set in perhaps.”
