If your idea of a perfect Saturday involves tasty BBQ, high-stakes raffles, and rubbing elbows with mountain legends, then clear your calendar. Montana Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife (MTSFW) is firing up the pits for their 16th Annual Pig Roast Banquet and Fundraiser, and it’s shaping up to be the wildest party in Missoula this spring.
Whether you’re in it for the pork or the chance to take home one of over 30 guns up for grabs, this isn’t your average “sit-still-and-clap” banquet. It’s a celebration of Montana’s outdoor heritage, and you’re invited to the front lines.
Mark your maps and set your reminders. The event is taking over the Zootown Event Center for an afternoon of food, fun, and fundraising.
Ever wondered what it’s actually like to survive a Montana winter without a thermostat? You can ask the pros. This year, MTSFW is thrilled to host special guests Tom Oar and Paul Antczak from the hit TV show Mountain Men. Come hear their stories, grab a photo, and maybe pick up a tip or two on trapping, fishing, and hunting.
While the roast pig is the star of the show, there’s plenty of action to keep you busy between bites:
