Quick calendar shuffle from Montana FWP: If you had the October Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting penciled in for Oct. 15, grab the eraser.
According to Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (FWP), the meeting has moved up one day to Wednesday, Oct. 14. It’ll be held virtually via Zoom beginning at 8 a.m.
There’s also a pretty full docket, and FWP is currently taking public comment on topics including:
Want your two cents in the mix? Public comments on agenda items are due Sept. 24. Comments can be submitted through the online surveys associated with each agenda item or mailed to the Montana Fish and Wildlife Commission.
Prefer to speak during the meeting? Virtual public comment is available, but registration is required. Zoom registration opens Sept. 30 and closes at noon Oct. 13.
Commissioners may also propose amendments to FWP proposals. Any amendments provided to FWP before the meeting will be posted online for public review.
Bottom line: new date, same meeting, plenty to weigh in on.
