Illegal smallmouth and largemouth bass have been found in Sacajawea Lagoon, connected to the Yellowstone River, threatening the local trout fishery. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks proposes to remove these bass through a dewatering process. A public meeting will be held on Oct. 1 to discuss the project and gather feedback.
