Montana's inspectors at the Anaconda boat check station successfully prevented an invasive zebra mussel outbreak by stopping a contaminated wake boat from Minnesota. The boater was unaware of the mussels transported with their boat. All watercraft entering Montana must be inspected to protect against aquatic invasive species.
